Jigoku Shoujo, ou Hell Girl in English. It is mainly horror but many episodes were very sad, touching and tragic. Probably the animé I've cried the most watching. Even the manga makes me cry.

All three seasons had sad endings and touching stories so this is my winner. Of course, several other episodes also made toi want to kill certain people, ou can scare you, so this is definitely an animé that rouses up all your emotions. I highly recommend this.

Jigoku Shoujo, ou Hell Girl in English. It is mainly horror but many episodes were very sad, touching and tragic. Probably the animé I've cried the most watching. Even the manga makes me cry. All three seasons had sad endings and touching stories so this is my winner. Of course, several other episodes also made toi want to kill certain people, ou can scare you, so this is definitely an animé that rouses up all your emotions. I highly recommend this.
