We start the fanfiction in a typical Looney Tunes "Rabbit Season, canard Season" cartoon.
Daffy: [points Elmer's gun to Bugs] Rabbit season!
Bugs: [points the gun to Daffy] canard season!
Daffy: [points the gun to Bugs] Rabbit season!
Bugs: [points the gun to Daffy] canard season!
Daffy: [points the gun to Bugs] Rabbit season!
Bugs: [keeping the gun aimed at him] Rabbit season!
Daffy: [aims Elmer's gun at himself] canard season! FIRE!!!
Like good ol' times, Elmer blasted Daffy in the face, relocating the duck's bill on the back of his head.
Daffy: [puts his beak back on his face] You're despicable!
As that happened, the scene then panned out to reveal it was on a TV. Yakko was watching it, eating from a bag of pop corn, maïs soufflé with an ACME Cola cup par his side.
Yakko: [laughing] Ah, that gag never fails to crack me up every time! [scoops up some pop corn, maïs soufflé with his hand and stuffs it in his mouth; his cellphone rings in his pocket] Oh! [picks up the cellphone and puts it to his ear] Hello?
Wakko: [talking in phone] Yakko!
Yakko: Yes, middle sibling?
Wakko: [talking in phone] The Warner Bros. Studios is having an annual dance party tonight! Care if toi would come?
Yakko: Dance party? Ehhhh.... sure, why not!?
Wakko: [talking in phone] Just giddy up and go!
Yakko: Alright, alright! [runs off into the bathroom]
Inside the bathroom, Yakko took a bath, brushed his teeth, put one some fancy gentleman clothes, and prepared to groom himself at the sink. He turned the radio on to play some classy tune.
Yakko: Ahhhh. A toon can't come to a dance party without cleanliness and groominess! Let's see here. [opens a cabinet and picks up an ACME Fragrance Spray] Ah, ACME Fragrance Spray! [sprays himself all over so that he smells wonderful; sighs, but then one of his ears fall off] Hey! [picks up his ear and puts it back, only for his other to fall off] Grrr...! [picks up his other ear and puts it back, but then both of Yakko's ears fall off] Aw, man.
Scanning the cabinet again, Yakko felt a can of ACME Ear Spray. lire the back of the can which was "FOR TOON animaux LIKE DOGS, RABBITS, WARNERS, THEIR EARS WILL STAY ON FOREVER!", he hoped it would fix the lousy position of his long ears.
Yakko: Alright! Now....
Yakko then attempted to spray his ears but they dodged the spray. Yakko did it again but failed as his ears déplacer away again. The insane cycle continued until Yakko accidentally sprayed himself in the eyes, causing him to scream painfully and run around like a maniac whose butt is on fire. Finally, he tripped on a mop, and as he got up and returned to the sink mirror, his ears are gone again. He wondered where they could be until he spotted them on his buttocks. From the point of view of Yakko's behind, it looked like he had three tails since his each of his ears were on the left and right of his tail, respectively.
Yakko: Get back ear! (no pun intended) [picks up his ears and returns them on his head] Ah, much better! Well, the Annual Warner Bros. Party, here I come!
However, as the clean and groomed toon was about to jump out from the water tower, a huge gust of wind blew away his ears, making them fly around the studio until finally landing in a precise backlot. Yakko screamed, but since he can't hear anything without his ears, he also can't hear himself as well. He then proceeded to run around the studio to retrieve his ears.
Yakko halted to see where his ears could be. Behind him was a Looney Tunes poster about an unlucky dog called "Dumbfound Dog", and Yakko looked like he had ears since his head was blocking the dog's head leaving his erect ears intact. Yakko then resumed running.
Stopping at a garden which was the set for a movie, Yakko scanned the area around him as a rabbit popped up behind him from it's hole making him look like he had ears, then secondes later he resumed. Running inside the precise backlot where the annual dance party was held, he met up with Dr. Scratchansniff.
Dr. Scratchansniff: [muted; subtitled] Hello Yakko! toi vere quite early tonight, and what happened to your ears? Anyvay, care for a glass of punch? [hands Yakko his cup]
Yakko: What?
Dr. Scratchansniff: [muted; subtitled] I said, care for a glass of punch?
Yakko: Grrr...! [holds up a sign that says "Thanks Scratchy. I'd l’amour to, but I've Lost my ears and I have to find them first", then runs off]
Dr. Scratchansniff: [muted; subtitled] Okay, good luck with that, Yakko! [sips on his cup]
Yakko searched for his ears everywhere in the party, from looking into womans' purses to peeking into hats and looking under tables, but no sign of any ears. Finally, Yakko gave up and felt he was doomed to lose his sense of hearing forever. Just then, his sister Dot walked up to her hopeless big brother.
Dot: Yakko, toi are just in time! Hey, where are your ears?
Yakko: [holds up a sign that says "I've Lost them and couldn't find them anywhere"]
Dot: [feeling sorry for Yakko] Aw, that's sad.
However, Yakko caught his eyes on his sister's tail and asked her.
Yakko: Uh, did toi ever have the feeling that toi have three tails?
Dot: What?
Yakko: If toi want to see that feeling, look at your tail.
Dot obeyed her brother and looked at her tail. Turns out Yakko was right, she had three tails! However, two of the "tails" were shorter and did not wag when Dot wagged her tail.
Dot: [turning her butt to Yakko, montrer her two extra "tails"] Are toi sure I have two extra tails?
Yakko: Yep.
Upon closer inspection at Dot's other tails, Yakko realized that they weren't tails at all, they were his ears!
Yakko: [gasps] My ears! [pulls them out from Dot's butt and places them back on his head] Oh thank you, Dot, [hugs his sister very hard] thank toi for finding my ears!!!
Dot: [groaning] Uh, Yakko? You're crushing me!
Yakko: Oh, sorry! [releases Dot]
Dr. Scratchansniff: [on the stage] Hey, everybody! It's ze time to dance! Hit it, Ralph!
Ralph: [as the DJ. He has one hand on a plaque tournante, platine vinyle and the other on a DJ mixer] Daahh... OK! [turns the disc while he manipulates with the mixer]
Unfortunately, the song (link) was so loud that it almost made Yakko's ears bleed, so he was forced to rip them off once plus to avoid suffering deafness.
Yakko: Ah, much better.
Hello Nurse: [dressed in a hip hop outfit; walks up to Yakko] salut Yakko, care if toi would dance with me?
Yakko: Hello Nurse! Heck yeah, for the fact that I LOOOVVVVEEEEE dancing with girls!
Yakko and Hello Nurse then got into the dance party spirit and danced very groovily to the loud musique along with everyone. Until the party is over, Yakko might have to keep himself earless for a while.
