I chose "Get angry at the abuser and get in his face,MAYBE attack...." but I wouldn't "attack" actually. I'd probably scold the owner because initially I'd be furious but then I'd try to reason with them as to why what they're doing is bad. Somebody ignorant enough to abuse an animal really needs a lesson as to why that's bad and that others don't approve of it.

I saw a boy beating his puppy. I was so furious, but I didn't want to start a fight with a kid. I catched his hand, told him to stop. He looked at me. Then I told him if he hits this dog once again I wiil take it. And I told him I knew his father and he will beat him as much as he that dog. He was really scared :>
