I think and I watch
As they sit down to eat
Some salade, laitue and bread
But mostly red meat
I watch as they chew
Flesh apart in their mouths
How can they consume
All those dead cows
Ripped from their mothers
Locked in a crate
Calves who were taken
For veal on your plate
But here toi are chewing
And using your knife
To cut flesh apart
That once had a life
You seem very smart
But toi don't have a clue
You seem very caring
But how caring are you
Dedicated to religion
But your stomach is the grave
To many murdered animals
That toi forgot to save
Animals feel pain
They're just like me and you
Kind of makes me wonder
How selfish...
