Prologue
*Jasper Park, Canada*
Winston and Eve: *Drinking water from a river*
Eve: *Notices something floating down the river* What's that?
Winston: *Stops* I don't know...it looks like what humans call a basket.
Eve: *Gets close to it, picks up the basket handle, and puts the basket on the riverbank*
*Inside the basket there is a male baby half-wolf*
Eve: Awww...the poor thing probably abandoned...what should we do?
Baby Half-Wolf: *Has black hair, brown eyes, light skin, and grey loup ears and tail, opens eyes*
Winston: We should leave it here. What if the parents come looking for him?
Eve: But what if they abandoned him? We can't just leave him here!
Baby Half-Wolf: *Starts to cry*
Winston: But Eve, you're already pregnant with two of our pups. Why do we need more?
Eve: *Looks at the Baby Half-Wolf* Maybe they need an older brother.
Winston: *Sighs* Fine. Let's take him back to the den.
Eve: *Looks overjoyed and goes to the Baby Half-Wolf's basket and picks it up*
*Later, the Western Pack Territory*
Eve: What should we name our new child?
Hutch: Let's name him Slasher!
Eve: *Looks at Hutch* Really? Slasher?
Hutch: Just an idea...
Can-Do: Why are we keeping a human in our pack?! We are a loup pack!
Eve: *Holding the Baby Half-Wolf* We couldn't just leave him there! He's one of our pack now.
Can-Do: Whatever...*Walks away*
Hutch: I have a name!
Winston: Is it "Smasher"?
Hutch: Nope! It's a human name, Nick.
Eve: Nick...I like the sound of that. Nick Wolfe?
Winston: Sure.
Eve: *Nuzzles the Baby Nick Wolfe* Nick Wolfe...welcome to the eastern pack.

To Wish Upon A Star
A poem par Silver_Alpha
Oh, to gaze up in the sky,
Looking at the lights near and far.
But to be here sitting suivant to you,
Is like wishing upon a star.
As the moon shines down on us,
The night suddenly becomes bright.
It is like jour again,
But to be here with toi feels so right.
toi giggle and laugh with a snort,
A little smirk of some sort,
Then toi look into my eye
and tears come, making toi cry.
As I hold toi in my arms, I never want to let go,
toi feel safe, at home.
toi calm down until sleep takes in,
It took toi without one to know.
Oh, to gaze up in the sky,
Looking at the lights near and far.
But to be here sitting suivant to you,
Is like wishing upon a star.
