I'm back from vacation. Here we go.
The Den
Kate,Garth, and Lilly looked at the Pure silver loup stading before them. Kate was just staring.Humphrey then turned back to normal.
"Kate I'm what they call a sage wolf. We are a different kind of loup then the rest of you. We can like control element's and can sense other's around us. But the sad thing is that I was the last one left. Now our pups and toi can become like me. Would toi want to?" Humphrey asked them. Kate just looked down and they saw tears coming down.
"Why did toi not tell me?" She asked. Humphrey looked down.
"It was one of the best way's to keep toi all safe. But toi have not anwsered my question. Would toi want to become like me?" Humphrey asked again. Kate looked at him with a smile.
"Only if Garth and Lilly can Become like us." Kate said. Humphrey smiled.
"But of course. But I will train Garth before toi girls." Humphrey said.
"And why is that?" Lilly asked.
"Well I do want somebody here to protect the pups while we're gone." Humphrey said. They all nodded then. Humphrey then frowned. Kate noticed it first.
"What's wrong Humphrey?" She asked.
"I Guess I now must tell toi guys of my past." He said. Kate nodded.
"Before that we have to name your son." She said. He nodded.
"Why not shadow?" He said. Kate thought for a moment.
"I like it. Shadow it is." She said. Shadow and étoile, star then whined. Kate looked down and nuzzled them. Humphrey then took a deep breath.
"Well time for toi to learn of my past." Humphrey said.
(Flashback)Humphrey's POV.
"I'm gonna catch toi big brother!" I yelled as I ran after Seth. Seth Laughed.
"You will never Catch me Humphrey. I will always be faster than you." Seth called back to me. I laughed. i wasn't watching where I was going and ran into Shawn who was another pup of the pack. He was the size of my brother and he scared me.
"That hurt punk." He growled. I looked down.
"I-I'm sorry Shawn." I whimpered. He growled at me. He then raised his paw and slapped me across the face leaving a scar. I yelped as I was thrown backward. Then out of nowhere Seth jumped in front of me and growled at Shawn.
"Nobody touches my little brother." He growled. He then leaped at Shawn and slammed him to the ground. Shawn was already crying. I went and grabbed my brother's shoulder holding him back.
"Seth just stop. It's alright. Anyway he's not worth it." I told him. Seth then calmed down. He then turned back to Shawn.
"Never touch my brother again. Alright?" Seth said. Shawn quickley nodded. Seth let him up and he ran away with his tail between his legs. Seth then took a look at my scar.
"I'm alright Seth." I told him. He smirked.
"Well I guess that your going to have this scar for a while. Yeah all the girl loups will like the way toi look now. Maybe even Kate will notice, huh?" Seth smirked. I blushed. He knew I had a crush on Kate. She was the daughter of Winston the leader of the pack. Seth laughed. We then started heading home. We walked into the tanière, den and saw mom and dad had caught a caribou. When they saw my scar they both gasped. Mom ran over to take a look.
"What happend?" She said.
"Well Shawn was bullying Humphrey again and this time I just got sick of it and did something about."Seth told them.
"He scared Shawn away from me. I bet Shawn wet his fourrure when got home." I laughed. My father and Seth laughed right along with me. My mother just shook her head with a smile. We then went over and started eating.
"Are toi ready for Sage camp tommorow Humphrey?" My dad asked me.
"Yep."I then looked up at Seth. "I will pass toi Seth." I told him. He smiled and rubbed my head.
"Just try it little brother." He told me. We all then went to sleep.
5 weeks later. Still Humphrey's POV.
I was listsining to Seth and Dad arguing in the other part of the den. I had just gotten back from sage camp. I had the same nature abilities like my grandfather. Me and him both have Wind and Fire. My brother has Lightning and Water. Our father a dit that we had element's that were rivals. My wind would beat his lightning and his water would beat my fire.
Him and dad were arguing because Seth wanted to go out with his girlfriend Bella instead of coming to my birthday party tommorow.
"But dad me and Bella have something planned tommorow." Seth complained.
"Sorry but tommorow's Humphrey's birthday which means all the family will be here. toi are not missing this." Dad told him. Seth just went out the den. I walked up to my dad.
"Dad can I go play with my friends?" I asked.
"Sure Humphrey.Just be back before dark." He said.
"Thanks dad." I called back and ran out the door. I hoped my family didn't tear apart.
7 hour's later.
I was hurrying back from playing with my Friends and saying goodbye to Kate as she left for Alpha school. It was already dark. I knew that most of my aunt and uncle had already arrived. When I was almost to the tanière, den I froze. There on the ground was my Aunt and Uncle cold dead. I ran to the den. I saw Seth and Bella at the entrance of our Den.
"Seth what happend to our aunt and uncle? Their dead."I cried. Bella just laughed.
"I know all this already Humphrey." He said.
"What happend?"I asked.
"I killed them." He said. I froze.
"W-What did toi say?" I asked.
"I killed them and I killed our parents as well. The reason I did all this is because I wanted power." Seth said. He then hit my head and I went unconsios. I woke up later and saw Eve Kate's Mom and Helen Eve's Sister over me. Helen noticed me waking up.
"Stay still Humphrey. Your pretty hurt." Helen told me.
"How long have I been asleep?" I asked.
"About Three days." Eve said. I then shot of the tanière, den and headed towards my family's Den. When I got there I saw my parents and Aunt and Uncle's bodies on the floor. I then punched the mur and cried. Helen,Eve, And Lilly Kate's younger sister walked in. Lilly put her arm around my shoulder while Eve and Helen were soothing me. All I could do was remeber the last words my brother told me befroe knocking me out.'I will return one day. Be ready.
(End of Flash back)Humphrey's POV.
"By the Gods. I'm so sorry Humphrey." Garth told me. I just nodded. I then got up.
"Well since I must train Garth before toi girls, We must leave now. Come on Garth." I told him and he got and followed me.
"Wait."Lilly called. I turned back.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"When will y'all be back?" She asked.
"At least 5 week's from now." I told her.
"Okay." She said. Garth went and nuzzled her.
"Make sure the kids know who I am." He told her. She nodded. I then went over to kate and kissed her. She just nodded. Me and Garth then left for the training area.
