kathiria82 Honestly I was obsessed with Alias the first 2 seasons. I wanted to quit watching after Sydney disappeared and they thought she was dead. The whole Lauren triangle, I could have done without. I tried to stay faithful to the show but when I thought Vaughn died it was like "stop already" so I stopped watching for awhile until the finale. I guess they ran out of ammunition too soon. It was really disappointing to see it go down like that. Do I make sense? Anyways, I completely agree with you although I will always remain faithful to Alias.

linaloveli I know, I wanted to stop watchin for some reason, but I just couldn´t, it felt wrong...! But I still feel that they had so much more to give, and I´m sure it was hard for them to go back to being "good" after they´d made the Lauren-mistake... They sort of concentrated so hard on the Lauren-is-bad thing that they completely forgot what people really watched Alias for.. And also I loved Irina so much, and I really hated that she had to be a bad-guy, I loved that hate-love thing she had with Jack... Maybe they just added the Lauren character, so that people wouldn´t realize she was gone...it sure as hell didn´t do it for me!

kathiria82 Well I don't think many Alias fans wanted to accept that the show started to pretty much suck. I love the show so much and I miss it but how much more could they have dragged out of it. It felt so rushed toward the end and I hate when shows end that way. Well I guess we'll just agree with each other, lol.

dave Once they started going nuts with all the weird Rambaldi stuff, I checked out. I really loved the first two seasons. After that it started getting ridiculous. I saw some of the pregnant episodes and they were just awful.

Dragonfly0879 I'm sorry to have to disagree with all of you, but I LOVED every bit of Alias. Even the Lauren-triangle, the amnesia and the new characters in Season 5. The only thing that was a little overdrawn was the whole Rambaldi-Immortality thing. For years they hunt down this supposed mastermind and what's his big secret: living forever. Oh, please. I sorely miss Alias, but I'd rather have it end while it was fantastic than to drag on in mediocrity.

CIA_Recruit I loved "Alias" from the very beginning as well. I actually didn't have as huge a problem with it until the end of season 4 and for most of season 5. I think that a lot of it had to do with JJ working on "Lost" and, let's face it, he's a genius. Overall though, I think that once he came back to help finish the show I was satisfied with the ending.

evlkitgrl92 I could tolerated the pycho wife and dissapearance thing and continued watching as it got more and more ridiculous, but after the giant floating orange ball over Svogda (I don't think I spelled that right) that made everyone go crazy I just couldn't take it.

ClassicalNadia I love everything about Alias! It just got better and better! That's why it's the best show out there. It's too bad that's it's ended. They could have made more. And the whole Rambaldi thing, that was Alias, it's something that made it unique. If you guys had watched it all you would have liked it more, you can;t just randomly stop watching and then watch it again 2 years later, you won't get anything.

tracyr627 Sadly, they made mistakes starting in season 3. the cliffhanger of Vaughn being married was shocking but the follow through was bad, it was about keeping them apart not about good storytelling. We got Sydney POV but we never got Vaughn's. We should have gotten flashbacks to what happened when he thought she was dead. It;s not that Vaughn marrying Lauren was shocking. Vaughn had always wanted a normal life. So that was easy to explain. it should been about them and the angst of them being kept apart because of Lauren. Once they decide she would be bad it made him look stupid that he didn't figure it out for a LONG time. They should have had Vaughn figure it out tell only Jack to protect Syd. It was never going to be a Jack and Irina thing because that took place over a very long time. So they never should have done that. They should have kept Syd anger that he moved on and not had her be friends with them. It just became stupid. Vaughn never really got to tell her how much he hated her and why. He had better scene with Sark about his anger then Lauren. Even the lame ass Vaughn went back to Lauren after her father died. Made no sense first because that isn't what happened with Alice but if you aren't happy. Going back because of that wouldn't change a thing. They just had him hurt Syd and it made Vaughn look bad and stupid. Just like when Vaughn was being tortured and almost killed. Syd was nowhere around. They took all the emotion out of season 3. It was we will throw some bones but keep them apart until the end. that is how you write a good show and not a couple that your fans were invested in. Season 4 had a lot of good moments but it had some love moments we didn't understand. It was most in the middle that made no sense. Near the end it was getting good again but the big ball was silly. the cliff hanger was good and made me jump and giving us more info about Vaughn a good idea but it was ruined by lets fake Vaughn's death and give us two new character we didn't care about. Having Vaughn off most of season 5 was the worse mistake they made. Yes, Alias was about Sydney but the viewers loved Syd and Vaughn and loved Vaughn as a character too. Losing Weiss, Vaughn and Nadia was a HUGE mistake. I love Alias because of the Aliases but I also loved the human stories. that included Jack and Vaughn. Season 1 and 2 were the best and if they would have focused on doing more of that. Then now that we got Syd and Vaughn together lets tear them apart stories. THe show would have been better off.
