The Producer recommends that toi add "Scarecrow" to your Netflix queue.

Queue it to see the transformation of Al Pacino's character. Queue it because Gene Hackman says it was his best jouer la comédie role of all time. Queue it because you've never heard of it and have no idea what it is about and didn't even know the film existed until now. Queue it to get an authentic feel for the early 1970s in America.

Fun Trivia: Before shooting, Gene and Al dressed as hobos and hitchiked their way through California to get in character. That'd be some pick up.

We saw an interview with Gene a few weeks il y a where he a dit they were filming recently near his accueil in New Mexico and as he drove par he asked someone on the film set if they were looking for extras. "Not at this time, sir.", came the reply.

See why toi need to have a deeper knowledge of Hollywood than what happened since toi were 8? toi might run in to Gene Hackman someday and have no idea who the hell he is!

Eileen Brennan is also in this film. This is long before her notoriety in the 1980 movie "Private Benjamin" with Goldie Hawn. The Producer met Eileen in West Hollywood in 2006. She was in a wheelchair and looked older than her 74 years. Her lack of mobility and advanced appearance today could be related to the nearly fatal car accident she suffered in 1982 one night after leaving dîner with Goldie Hawn. Surviving a pain killer addiction, alcoholism, and breast cancer couldn't have helped much either. Eileen also had roles in "The Sting", "Murder par Death", and "Clue" in addition to a hundred other appearances going back to 1966. Most recently in a recurring role on the TV Series "Will & Grace".
