None of them really fit, in my opinion...

Meryl, Bernadette, Helena, Sigourney, Cher.

Helena Bonham Carter would be great as Morticia, she's definatley my second choice! My third would be either Bernadette Peters or Meryl Streep. Cher, my fourth. Sigourney has those dark, mysterious eyes that I think would make a great Morticia. If Helena was a bit older, I could see her as Grandmama.

i could so see cher playing morticia. Plus for someone who is in her 60's, she still looks hot. Catherine zeta jones and meryl streep would be my next choices.

I honestly can't see Helena as Morticia. She's too short and doesn't have the right face.

Saw her as Tish on Broadway, and she is BORN to play the part.

Second choice is Bernadette Peters; she'd be amazing.

I can't really see Helena as Morticia, she doesn't have the right face or built. Sigourney can be very dark and I think she would be absolutely amazing as Morticia. Meryl Streep would be my second choice, Cher, Bernadette and Catherine.

or

3. Maybe Helen MCcory?

Cause for me choosing between them is hard for me.Cause I think that they'd all (and I've heard Bebe Neuwirth as Morticia Addams on the Broadway soundtrack for the now closed show of The Addams Family Musical.And she's perfect!) be GREAT!

Helen is the 14th suggestion here I think could do a fine job; we'll have to audition all of them. ;) Bebe and Bernadette (having to wear a wig, hehe) are still my top two choices. :)
