We all have dreams that we all hope will come true one jour regardless how strange or
unusual they may seem to other people. However, how many of us can say that we passed
up on a golden opportunity to accomplish that dream? A man who goes par the name
David Seth Cohen can actually say that he choked like a Dallas Cowboy quarterback when
that opportunity presented itself.
Working as a production assistant on the set of the Adam Sandler movie “Big Daddy”,
Cohen claims he had idolized Sandler for quite a long time. He also claimed that it was
a dream of sorts to actually hang out with the A-list Hollywood actor. One night back in
1998 he had to make a delivery to Sandler’s apartment. According to Cohen, Adam
invited him inside for a drink in which he refused. Ever since, David Seth Cohen has been
regretting his inability to capitalize on a chance to hang out with his idol. So what does a
man do after obsessing about a missed opportunity that happened almost 15 years ago?
MAKE A DOCUMENTARY!!!
David Seth Cohen has taken to Kickstarter in hopes to raise not only awareness, but also
the funding for his documentary “Finding Sandler”. If the film is fully funded, the
documentary will be of David Seth Cohen himself and his story about chasing his dream
to finally have that drink that he turned down back in 1998. Hopefully, juuuuuuuust
hopefully, we will see the mans dream actually come true and we will see what Cohen will
actually talk about in a situation that I assume he has donné much thought.
So what exactly is the point of creating this documentary? Who cares? This is someone
who has an ideal, and is taking steps to attempt to accomplish it. How could anyone be
mad at that? In fact, I think there should be plus people out there who take initiative to
accomplish their dreams. Good luck to toi David, we all here hope that toi will pull it
