now that 24 has been cancelled are they going to take it off the air right away,or let it run till may?

oh my god toi pretty much gave me a mini heartattack, and i totally agree with kaytie, plus why would they annuler 24 it usually ranks in the highest amount of viewers in its timeslot, dont say if its cancelled if its not offical!!

renard confirmed today that after eight seasons, 24 will air its series finale in May. étoile, star Kiefer Sutherland told EW.com that producing a ninth season for another network like NBC was not an option because he and executive producer Howard Gordon were ready to call it quits. “The writers are producing the equivalent of 12 films a year, which is unheard of, and Howard felt to do a ninth would be potentially damaging,” a dit Sutherland. “We both felt strongly that there has been a demand and an interest in a 24 film, which would be a two-hour representation of a 24-hour day, » news from imdb.COM

The montrer is not canceled, it's just not being renewed for a 9th season. Canceled usually means they are taking it off the air immediately, but they just aren't doing a season 9. It makes sense I guess. Kiefer only signed on for 8 seasons to begin with, as did 90% of the writers I think.

i actually l’amour 24,but it has been talked about. i would l’amour a ninth season just concentrate on jack finally be happy and retired
